If you have an Intel Mac, you can use Parallels (http:// 
www.parallels.com/) to run Windows on your Mac. There is a very nice  
mode where you can hide the Windows desktop and just have your  
windows application running along your Mac applications.

Then again, you may want to look at software like TextMate or BBEdit,  
which are very fine editors indeed :-)
