[TYPO3] TMENU redirect to first subpage

Hi!
I have a question: On my main menu, I have eight different level1 menu 
entries. Each entry of the first four should redirect directly to its 
first subpage.

Now, that wouldn't be a problem with the pagetype 'shortcut', which is 
exactly what I'd need. Unfortunately I need the pagetype 'advanced' to 
specify a custom image for every menu entry.

What to do?
