Hello,

I have recently migrated some Typo3 sites (4.0.2) to a MySQL 5 environment
(including one with chinese version) and in fact I would say that it seems
to run better with MySQL 5 than 4 - problems kept reoccurring with the
Asian characters on 4 that went away with 5.
I wouldn?t be so skeptical of running Typo3 on MySQL 5, it seems to work
just fine.

Greetings,

Christian Reiter
