[TYPO3] Canonfile invisible in filelist

Hi,

I've uploaded several photos from my Canon digital camera via FTP to 
fileadmin/fotos. But these pictures don't show up in the filelist from 
TYPO3. When I upload the same picture but with a different filename 
(like picture.jpg) filelist does recognize the picture.
The files from Canon have this file name: DSC01372.jpg (whereby the 
number of course varies). Has anybody any clue how I can solve this problem?
