[TYPO3] Backend Fatal Error after upgrade to php 4.4.4

Hi,

I am using Typo3 4.0.2 and it worked fine until my Provider upgraded to
php 4.4.4. Now the frontend still works but if I want to login, the
login screen appears as usual. But when entering the login and password
an php-error shows up:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class alt_menu_functions in
/www/planersocietaet/typo3/class.alt_menu_functions.inc on line 73

So, the backend is not accessible. Install-Tool still works.

Does anybody know what this is? Do I have to downgrade php? Or is there
any solution known?
