[TYPO3] problems on MySQL 5.x

Hi!
I am using OpenBSD 4.0 with mysql 5.0.22 and PHP 5.1.4 Hardened On AMD 
dual core 4500, 4G RAM, 10 Raid...

The typo3 new installation without extensions work great, but i need 
TemplaVoila an RealURL

As far as I understend the problems began with the mysql  table creation 
: sql 5.x dont like default value "0" and field "not null"

I tried to remove the defalt value, but then the typo3 database run into 
panic all the sql server, and its craches....

For now i had no luck of setting mysql 4.0 on openbsd 4.0 amd 64 
architecture...

So any advise is welcome, because i try to promote typo3 in Latvia, to 
show that it is better in many reasons that other cms'es.

Maby it is good idea to choose some more compartible OS, -
