[TYPO3] Do cron_cssstyledimgtext files have to be deleted after upgrading to 4.0.2?

Hi,

We just upgraded from 3.8.1 to 4.0.2.  From the Changelog of 4.0.2,
cron_cssstyledimgtext has been merged with css_styled_content.  We used
both extensions on 3.8.1.  Now, with 4.0.2, captions don't show up on the
frontend with text or text w/ image type content elements.  Somebody
suggested remove cron_cssstyledimgtext in the ext manager.  I uninstalled
it.  Cron_cssstyledimgtext doesn't exist as a loaded extensions any more. 
The question is do I have to delete all its files from typo3conf/ext/? 
This is a production server that hosts multiple live sites.  Deleting
anything, especially some core components, can make me nervous :).
