[TYPO3] RTE -> no <a> tags in the frontend

hello!

I use Typo3 4.0 and rtehtmlarea 1.3.7.

I have the following problem concerning using links to files, sites or 
emails:

when I edit text in RTE and set some part of text to be a link it is 
processed correctly - in HTML source there is <a> ... </a> fragment.

But in the frontend all <a>...</a> tags are removed, so there are no links.


What is wrong?
