[TYPO3] dam installation error

Hi!
If i want to install an extension that has a dependency on TYPO3, it 
says, that i need to have TYPO3 4.0.0 but only have TYPO3 4.0 and that 
would be lower than 4.0.0. If i want to install dam, i get the same 
error. When i click on ignore it, i see the options to configure dam. As 
soon as i click on update, the EM mainpage loads again. But dam is not 
installed.

What do i have to do?

Is there a bug in bugtracker already, or am i the only one who 
experience problems like that?
