[TYPO3] Setting default values in BE

Hi list,

I want to set some default values in the BE.

These defaults change within the page tree, but are not dependend on the 
user or user group (so I can't use TCAdefaults.table.field).

Is there a way to configure it somehow or do I need to use itemsProcFunc?
