Ken,

I heard Zach say that the extension should work with versions 3.8.0 and  
greater. Maybe running the dev version doesn't count? The reason is that  
he uses a function to escape quotes which wasn't there before 3.8.0, so  
maybe updating your T3 version to 3.8.1 would help.

Also, you can roll back to previous versions. Just search for chc_forum in  
the extension repository, and click on it to bring up the details. Then  
you can pick which version to install in the top left corner.
