[TYPO3] Wrong filelinks in the backend

When I click on a link to a file in the filelist I get a wrong url to the
file, like this: 
http://server.org/fileadmin/file.jpg 

There is nothing there because this is the correct url: 

http://server.org/~username/fileadmin/file.jpg 


The thumbnails is there, I can insert the file into the frontend,
everything works but this. 

Is there a setting I have not seen?
