I think the "old-way" of copying the file to uploads/media doesn't track
back which original file was included, so I think
this would be impossible. There is a new approach in the new
DAM-extension that allows references to files in fileadmin instead of
copying them, which you might want to try to apply to the Filelinks too
(currently it only handles the "images" field of tt_content). Check out
dam_ttcontent, maybe all you need is to create a new field and apply
similar TypoScript to this field (see ext_localconf.php).
