[TYPO3] Front end user reg. module and another login box

Im using the FE user registration module and I want something like this:

Users of my website will have to log in with a username and password 
mailed to them before being able
to create a userprofile.

The problem is, that when a user is logged in and sent to the create 
profile page,
the FE user reg. module already thinks that the user has a profile, 
though the user is not
created in the userGroupUponRegistration folder.

How do I fix this?
