[TYPO3] Generate XML output?

As a matter of fact you are suggested to render XHTML with TYPO3
nowadays. By definition XHTML is already XML. ;)

So the job here is to really make sure you get valid xhtml output, which
then is valid XML and can be transformed by the usual XML-processing tools.

If you want your output to use another schema/dtd than XHTML (for
example Docbook), thats of course possible. It will need quite some work
though.
