Yes.

Is this an unsatisfactory answer? If so, you may want to think about
your question. Explain what you want to do--what you'd do if you
weren't using a CMS--and somebody may be able to give you a reasonable
answer.

Remember: Typo3 outputs html, so you need to have some idea of what
you want to do with the html in the first place...
