[TYPO3] different user_upload directories

Hi:

I have a site containing many sub-sites.

I would like each sub-site to have it's
own unique user_upload directory for back
end editing.

I can't find a way to do this in TSRef
or the TSConfig documents. 

Does anyone know how it can be done?
