[TYPO3] indexed search, no work properly!

Hi,

Installed indexed search and want it to search a specific part of the page
tree (I know this has been posted but no def. answer was given.)

 

When I put - plugin.tx_indexedsearch.search.rootPidList = -1  in the setup
filed, the only value it will take is '-1' to search all the page tree.

Any other value doesn't seem to work.

 

If this a common problem, if so, what is the solution to setting the start
page to search from?!?
