[TYPO3] Problems catching pages

Hi, I've installed IndexSearch plugin and I've problems catching pages. I
write this code in my root page TS setup:

      page.config {
         index_enable = 1
      }

 and it doesn't work. The only way that catching works is if I create a
Template for each page of the tree and write the same code in their TS
setup, but I think it will be an easiest way. Anybody knows something about?
