[TYPO3] Random Text + Image

Hi everybody! 

First of all, I wouldn't normally be sending this
email, but the mailing list archives have been down
for a very long time and I really need help.

Here's my situation: I have been a faithful user of
your awesome plugin "ck_fortune" for quite a while
now. Now, I'm working on a web site in Typo3 that 
requires the more sophisticated features, and I need
your help.

The site is www.californiafitness.ca and what I want
is an image across the top (where the green heartbeat
monitor is). Also, inside the image I want text and I
want the entire image+text to be clickable. For
example, one image could be a picture of people in an
aerobics class, with text inside the image that says,
"Join a class - Click here!" and then the image would
be linked to the "Group Fitness Class" page.

My question is, first of all, is this possible? I
think it is because I notice that there is text inside
an image on the author's example page (although it's
not clickable).

Secondly, could you please walk me through how to do
it? I have tried following the sample text in the
author's site, but I don't know what the "pluginuid"
means or how to implement it.
