[TYPO3] altering html page title generated by templavoila

I remember reading somewhere how to alter the way html page titles would
display at the top of the browser window when I was doing templates
manually, but I can't find where, and in any case now I am using
Templavoila... is there a way of getting rid of the double colons at the
front and end of the automatically generated page title?
