[TYPO3] advanced search form

Hi all,

Has anyone used Specialized search Engine as an advanced search form on a
site

and are there any considerations to take into account to configure the
thing?

 

I need an advanced search option where visitors can choose to search between

a drop down of brands or shops to search in aswell as a input box for their
search term.

 

Help much appreciated.
