[TYPO3] JEdit and Unexpected XML-RPC exception

Hello,

I'm having problems with connecting jEdit with one remote site (it works  
locally and with my website).
When I'm trying to add the new site the plugin says:
The server returned an unexpected response in reply to an authentication  
test.
Server said: No result - Server plugin missing?

Yet when I open the site with index.php?type=761 it says:
This is the jeditvfs XML-RPC responder. I can't talk to you!

What may be wrong here?
