[TYPO3] newbie: I get loads of spam in my guestbook and contact form...

Hi,

I'm a newbie - never got really good a using typo3 due to lack of time, 
but I installed it it works okay (not too good, though). My problem: I 
have been ignoring that I often get a lot of stupid "Contact me" request 
like:

NAME	karloffb at aol.com
EMAIL	backroom at bellatlantic.net
TV	1
ADDRESS	

In my inbox... What I didn't know before yesterday, was that somebody is 
probably also spamming my guest-book. I guess he (or perhaps there are 
more?) made a script and you can see the result on my website:

There are 1174 entries in the guestbook - much of them is advertising 
for viagra and cialis, so you can't be in doubt that this is really spam 
of the worst kind... Is it possible to see the ip-address of who makes 
these entries?

What should I do about this problem? Remove the guestbook and the 
contact form? Is there any way to avoid this? I hoped I could have a 
guest-book without having such a problem...

I would like to see a statistic of many visitors I got, but I can't even 
figure out how to do that... So: Any input is greatly appreciated.
