[TYPO3] How to make a mandatory field

Hi Webmaster,

the field type for alt text is "text" and thus can not be defined as a 
required field via TCA-Settings.

Search for

   ['columns'][fieldname]['config'] / TYPE: "text"


Only "input" fields can be defined as required.
