[TYPO3] not creating thumbnail - jm_gallery

Hi guys,

I installed the extension and got all the links (album, list, single  
and admin) to work, but during creating thumbnails and singles in  
admin it shows a check saying that images were created but nothing  
actually did, i see in the upload directory folders were created but  
there is nothing inside, can someone be so kind to let me know what  
could have been the problem? in typo3 install tool GDlib and  
ImageMagick processed images fine, software version being used is below.

typo3 4.0

ImageMagick enabled: 1
ImageMagick path: /usr/local/typo3/bin/ (4.2.9)
ImageMagick path/LZW: /usr/local/typo3/bin/ (4.2.9)
Version 5/GraphicsMagick flag:

GDLib enabled: 1
GDLib using PNG: 0
GDLib 2 enabled: 0
IM5 effects enabled: 0 (Blurring/Sharpening with IM 5+)
Freetype DPI: 96 (Should be 96 for Freetype 2)
