[TYPO3] Extension manager modules is blank

Hi all,

I am wondering if anyone come across this problem before, I've install a
fresh new typo3 CMS version 4.0 on a linux box, with no GDLib,
imagemagick or gzdecompressor. All the other modules works fine except
for the extension manager, when I click on it, it doesn't return any
errors but just display a blank white page, does anyone know what is
going on? Am I missing something? Normally I don't have problem
installing typo3 with my server but this is on another person's server.
