[TYPO3] Security problem

Hi all,

I want to set up a document repository. I have created an extension. But 
right now I got a new task in which field I am not an expert.
How can I set some security rules for this repository? For example, to 
insert a .htaccess file in which I will specify an user to be required 
to access that folder. But I want to make this folder accessible from my 
extension.

I hope you understand my problem.
