[TYPO3] pi_list_browseresults()

Hi list,

I tried to use that method but I cannot understand how will I pass my 
result to it. I browse a table through

$res = $GLOBALS['TYPO3_DB']->exec_SELECTquery(.....)

and if I just call the tslib_pibase::pi_list_browseresults(); I get:

Displaying results 0 to 0 out of 0

even if there are more than 100 results. Don't I have to pass the $res 
to the method? I took a look to the definition code but I did not find 
any reference on "resources"... Hope have been clear!
