[TYPO3] Events Database (julle_events), add more registration fields

I have julle_events extension (version 1.2 for Typo3 3.8) working  
now, although I would like to add some extra fields to the event  
registration form.

1) Is it possible to add new fields to the registration form for  
events in the jullie_events extension?
2) Can I change the names of the current fields?
3) Are there any other ideas for doing something similar to this?  
(modify a database table directly? use simple content items and mail  
forms? Using a different event extension)
