[TYPO3] phpmyadmin urlencode() expects parameter 1 to be string

Hello,

Has anyone by any chance experienced such error in phpmyadmin default
extension? (I'm running a typo 3.8.0 on php 4.4.1 with mysql 4.0.25.) It
is not accessible and the only thing it outputs is the following:

Warning: urlencode() expects parameter 1 to be string, object given in
/home/demo/public_html/dummy/typo3conf/ext/phpmyadmin/modsub/
phpMyAdmin-2.6.4-pl3/libraries/url_generating.lib.php on line 91

The above phpmyadmin version is different then original (the original
was 2.6.2, global), as I thought it could help deleting the old one and
install the ext. from the repository. -> but that doesn't help, the same
error appeared.

I don't remember I did anything to cause this error, except I
uninstalled realurl extension just a few hours before the error...

I'm running another typo3 - which has the same configuration on the same
machine with no problem. (no realurl or simulate static docs, though)

Any help on how to restore phpmyadmin would be appreciated.

Regards,
Mario
