is there any addon avaible which protects
guestbooks and comment extensions from being spamed?
(e.g via non machinereadable number sequenz image)

Hi Nikolas,

I was being overwhelmed with spam in my guestbook and did some research. At 
www.typo3.net, a German forum, I found the solution.

Install the Captcha extension and upgrade your ve_guestbook to the latest 
version. This one will use the Captcha extension. Now, I don't have any more 
spam in my guestbook
