[TYPO3] htmlArea RTE - inserting an <hr> causes all text to be center ali gned

Hello,

I've tested this on several versions of typo and the rte, and it seems
to do it on all flavors. I've tried on typo 3.8.1 with versions of 1.0
up of the htmlArea RTE, and also beta 3 of Typo 4.

Inserting a horizontal rule in a content element will cause all content
below that hr to be center justified. Even other content elements.

Any ideas how to correct this?
