[TYPO3] tt_news displaySingle image width

Hello group:

I am having touble with the tt_news plugin single display. My articles 
display with an image that is 350 pixels wide. I have searched the News 
group but haven't found this addressed. 

Here is my template setup for displaySingle:

  displaySingle {
    image.file.maxW = 160
    imageWrapIfAny (...

Shouldn't this maxW set the size of the single display?
