[TYPO3] Chesky special chars

Hi,

I have a problem with special chars using in chesky language. 

E.g. when I write the char (html- Code) ě (which is an c with an
"v" on top) into the field "page title" typo print it out in ě in
the page title, but not the related letter.

I can write the letter direct into the field (using copy paste) oder put
the html code on the title field.
It doesn't work.

Any ideas? Perhaps from the typo user from east-middle parts of europe?
