[TYPO3] HTMLArea not showing up

Also, be aware that you can show additional options and customize the  
available styles in the RTE. The manual will help guide you in that.

But as a start you can go to the extension manager/loaded extensions  
and click on htmlAreaRTE. In the options change the "Default  
configuration settings" from "Typical" to "Demo." This will activate  
more of the RTE options although it is not recommended as a permanent  
setting for a production site.
