[TYPO3] Database selction

Choosing Typo3 as our corporate CMS now it's time to focus on choosing a database. Of all databases supported which one would be the best choice if we want to upscale in the near future? And which databases are best supported when coming up with new releases and modules? Our website is 40% about database publishing via PDF, 25% Wiki-like editing, 25% forums and 10% e-Commerce.
