yes but needs plugin and also some TypoScript configuration too.
Look tm_contentaccess and manual for it (tm_contentaccess has support
for ten columns but it needs also TypoScript explained in the manual,
which has code snippet to extend css_style_content supporting up to ten 
columns and shared content for each column).
