[TYPO3] How to use Chinese characters in GMENU

The charset of TYPO3 may be utf8 but of course also Big5 and gb2312.

But the font must be in Unicode (utf8) encoding. I have seen Mac fonts fail 
for that reason on Windows/Unix.
