[TYPO3] News date encoding

Hello,

Thank you for your reply. I think you are right. The pages are rendered to 
iso-8859-1, but the date shows 2 chars for accentuated letters.

I just don't understant why accents in text are correctly translated, but 
not in date.

I tried this:

plugin.tt_news.displayList {
  date_stdWrap.csConv = utf-8
}

but that doesn't change anything.

I must be missing something.
