[TYPO3] Differencies between IE and FireFox

I have a mailform that calls an php file which do some mySQL stuff and 
redirects to another page.

In FireFox it works fine. But in IE, instead of going to the php-file it 
goes to the frontpage and puts all the values from the mailform up in 
the address line as GET values. In the mailform the method is set to POST.

Anyone else with a problem like that?
