[TYPO3] Upload files in Link element browser?

Hi,

Is it possible to make it possible to upload files in the link browser 
like in the "Drag'n'Drop" image browser.

If I don't remembered wrong there was a "patch" for that somewhere, for 3.x.

Any ideas?
