[TYPO3] Typo3 Taking too much memory?

To me this looks pretty normal. Let them give you the output of the 
"free" command, which shows the used and cached memory. I know that 
these figures are not very exact, but I guess like on most systems, a 
lot of your processes are not consuming really that much memory.

You could also try to simply shut down your Typo3 site for a while and 
do some response tests on your forum (guess switching of the forum is a 
no-go). See if it improves as they promise.

By the way, I'm a little confused. Are you already on a VPS or still on 
shared hosting? Your "top" output looks like VPS.
