[TYPO3] date type in content element templavoila

Hi list, i have a content element with their fields, i would like that a 
field had a date type but in "Editing Type" only appears:
-plain input filed
-header field
-text area for bodytext
-image type
-typoscript
.....

but there is not a date type, is it possible to put a date type in a 
field?? I could do a frontend plugin, but its not the option, it must to 
be in content element, please thanks
