That is it, just add new ones in your tree. It helps because visually you
can see the separation in the BE page tree.

Now, as TYPO3 always has many ways to solve the problem. Another approach is
to not use spacers at all. Instead look at content wraps to wrap a spacer
around every 3rd item etc. The wrapping gets complicated but almost
anything is possible.

Another option comes to mind in using separate menus. So rather than one
large menu use 3 or 4 smaller ones comprising of items from different parts
of the tree.

You choice of method depends entirely on what you want to achieve as far as
being dynamic with future pages and there is not enough information here to
help further.

Generally I find you can answer this better by understanding what will
happen to your dynamic menu if you add a new page in. Do you want the page
to be correctly and automatically accommodated or are you happy to hack the
spacer each time.
