[TYPO3] CHC forum show new posts/threads on another page

Just setting up a site with CHC_forum, which I think is fantastic!

One question, is it possible to show the most recently posted
messages/threads on another page (home page for example) to drive traffic to
the forums with 'What people are talking about'... 'Hot topics'... or
similar

I've read through the documentation, and tried searching the archive but
can't seem to find anything about it. Does anyone know a way to do this?
