[TYPO3] Nicetext problem

Hello everyone,

I am having an issue with the nicetext option for my GMENU navigation:

When I put it off (nicetext= 0), I get a nice navigation with white
background and black characters as desired.

Whenever I set nicetext= 1 the background gets black and text white (it
actually inverses) , though I have defined backColor = #ffffff and
10.fontColor = #000000

Did anyone maybe already experience this and is there maybe a solution
available? I couldn't find anything on the web.
