[TYPO3] install directory

I unzipped the dummy package and the source package in my server root
directory and renamed the dummy directory to 'cms'

/var/www/html/cms
/var/www/html/cms/typo3_src-4.0.1

This is fine and everything works but to access my sites and BE I need to
type

http://www.domain.com/cms  for site

http://www.domain.com/cms/typo3  for BE


How can I remove the 'cms' from the url?
