[TYPO3] LDAP and backend-user preferences

Do you mean to copy variables from LDAP to TYPO3 or vice versa?
If only the first then that's what I know how to do. I just don't know 
how to store all the user-specific variables on the LDAP server.

Could you give me a hint how those variables are stored on the LDAP 
server that you use?
