[TYPO3] unable to login with a user in the front end

Dear sir,
   
     I tried using the typo3 ver 3.8.1 which has already created web pages, i was able to login with existing user in the front end for web site access with group permission.
   
  So when i try to create my own user and group with permission for a access restricted web site. am not able to login with it. it is redirecting to the same login page.
   
  when i use the existing username with the existing group am able to login in the front end, but not with user group which i created.
